These sales are crucial not only for balancing the books but also for complying with financial regulations, which are currently restricting the club’s ability to spend freely.
With pre-season fixtures fast approaching, Amorim is feeling the pressure. United face Leeds in Stockholm soon, followed by a trip to the United States for a match against West Ham on July 27. The coach is keen to integrate new arrivals into his tactical system as early as possible, yet only Cunha and young talent Diego Leon have joined the pre-season camp so far.
The lack of transfer momentum is causing concern among fans, who fear United are falling behind their rivals. Clubs like Chelsea and Arsenal have already made key additions, widening the competitive gap. Supporters are calling for swift action, urging the club to either push for Mbeumo with a third bid or switch attention to alternatives such as Michael Olise, Desire Doue, or Antoine Semenyo.
