The luxury SUV was intercepted by Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) technology, which revealed it lacked valid insurance, even though it was being driven by a friend at the time. Authorities promptly had the vehicle towed to a secure impound facility.
Onana has now been given a strict 14-day window to provide proof of ownership and insurance. If he fails to do so within the deadline, the car could either be sold at auction or destroyed by the authorities.
