Marcus Rashford announces heartbreaking news after his goal at Everton as the Fans are now regretting their actions towards him.

Marcus Rashford recently shared the emotional news of losing a family member shortly after Manchester United’s win over Everton. The victory continued the team’s impressive Premier League form, with Rashford and Anthony Martial each finding the net after Alejandro Garnacho stunned fans with a spectacular overhead kick. Rashford got the chance to extend United’s lead when Ashley Young fouled Martial in the box. Although Bruno Fernandes usually takes penalties, he gave Rashford the opportunity, knowing the striker had been low on confidence. Rashford made no mistake, smashing the ball home with authority and then looking skyward in a poignant tribute.

After the match, Rashford posted on Instagram, sharing photos from the game and dedicating his goal to his late cousin, writing, “GBNF (Gone but never forgotten).” It was only his second goal of the season, his first since the September loss to Arsenal. Fernandes explained his decision to let Rashford take the spot-kick, saying it was meant to help boost his teammate’s self-belief. He praised Rashford’s ability and said the forward looked “unstoppable” after the goal, highlighting how crucial such moments are for attacking players to regain their spark.

Although Rashford won’t be available for United’s upcoming Champions League clash with Galatasaray due to a suspension from his red card against Copenhagen, his performance against Everton may signal a fresh start—both emotionally and in his on-field form.
