VERY SAD NEWS has been announced for Real Madrid Star Federico Valverde as he sustained an injury during Madrid Win afgainst Real Sociedad in the Copa del Rey

During a tense match against Real Sociedad, Real Madrid fans held their collective breath as midfielder Federico Valverde suffered a worrying injury in the 56th minute.

The Uruguayan star collapsed to the ground in obvious discomfort, sending shockwaves through the Santiago Bernabeu. Given the timing of the injury, just a week before a crucial clash against Arsenal, concerns about Valverde’s availability were palpable.

However, after a thorough examination by the club’s medical team, it was confirmed that Valverde had only sustained a bruise on his right instep. According to Defensa Central, the doctor reassured Valverde that the injury was not serious, saying, “You have a hard knock, a bruise… it might hurt for a few days, but it’s nothing serious.” Despite the pain, Valverde was deemed fit to continue playing and remarkably completed the match, including extra time, without any further complications.

The news was a massive relief for Real Madrid, as Valverde is a key component of Carlo Ancelotti’s tactical plans. In fact, Ancelotti has been keen on deploying Valverde at right-back, particularly in big matches like the upcoming fixture against Arsenal. This decision is driven by the team’s defensive struggles when Lucas Vazquez plays in that position. Ancelotti believes that Valverde brings a better balance to the defense, providing more stability and structure compared to other options.

Valverde’s availability is crucial for Real Madrid’s chances of success against Arsenal. Had he sustained a more serious injury, it would have posed a significant problem for the team, forcing Ancelotti to rethink his tactical approach. With Valverde fit and ready, Real Madrid can proceed with their plans, giving them a vital edge in the upcoming match.
