FIFA has officially announced the dismissal of the officials and referees from the recent Barcelona vs. Girona match. This decision comes after the referee not issuing a penalty to Barcelona

FC Barcelona delivered a convincing 4-1 victory over Girona in their La Liga clash at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys, thanks in large part to Robert Lewandowski’s brace in the second half. The Polish striker’s clinical finishing proved decisive, as Barcelona asserted their dominance over their Catalan rivals.

However, the match was not without its worrying moments for Barcelona fans. In the 53rd minute, Ronald Araujo’s errant pass led to Girona’s sole goal, sparking widespread criticism from supporters. Araujo’s mistake was not an isolated incident, as he has been guilty of similar errors in the past, including in Barcelona’s Champions League encounter with Paris Saint-Germain.

Fans took to social media to express their frustration with Araujo’s performance, with many calling for the defender to be sold. The criticism centered around Araujo’s inability to pass the ball effectively under pressure, as well as his struggles with defensive positioning. While Barcelona’s victory over Girona was a welcome result, Araujo’s mistakes served as a reminder of the team’s ongoing defensive vulnerabilities.
