Sky Sports reports that Manchester United are ‘seriously considering’ making a move to sign a highly talented striker described as ‘insane’.

Manchester United are reportedly considering a move for Eintracht Frankfurt forward Hugo Ekitike as they look to reinforce their attacking options ahead of the new season. According to Sky Sports Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg, the Red Devils are keen on the French youngster, who has impressed with his performances in the Bundesliga.

With Ruben Amorim set to make significant changes to the squad, United are expected to be active in the transfer market, particularly in the attacking department. While Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee remain the primary striker options, neither has cemented a guaranteed starting spot. This has led the club to explore alternatives, with Ekitike emerging as a potential addition to bolster the frontline.

The former Paris Saint-Germain forward has been in scintillating form for Frankfurt, registering 19 goals and seven assists in 37 appearances across all competitions this season. His impressive displays have caught the attention of several clubs, and United are now carefully evaluating the prospect of securing his signature as Amorim continues to shape the squad to match his tactical vision.
