“I’ve NEVER insulted the referee, I’m glad to see there are the videos and evidence online, This is what i said to the referee

Real Madrid’s Jude Bellingham was handed a straight red card for allegedly using abusive language towards referee Jose Luis Munuera Montero during their match against Osasuna. The incident occurred in the 38th minute when Bellingham was seen protesting a previous incident near the center circle.

Although it’s unclear what Bellingham said, the referee stopped the game and produced a straight red card, sparking outrage from the player and his teammates. This is Bellingham’s second red card since joining Real Madrid, with the first occurring during a heated draw against Valencia in March 2024.

Bellingham has a history of losing his cool on the pitch, having unleashed a foul-mouthed tirade during a match against Atletico Madrid earlier this month. The incident occurred after a disagreement over a throw-in, with Bellingham heard shouting expletives at the linesman.

The red card has added fuel to the fire in Real Madrid’s ongoing dispute with the Spanish Football Federation and referees. The club recently issued a formal complaint to the RFEF following a controversial defeat to Espanyol, with manager Carlo Ancelotti slamming the officials for their “inexplicable” decisions.
