Ruben Amorim finally breaks silence as he reveals what Jadon Sancho told him as he is set to leave the club

Jadon Sancho’s future at Manchester United has once again been thrown into doubt, despite returning to the first-team setup under new manager Ruben Amorim. His reintroduction comes roughly a year after his fallout with Erik ten Hag, which saw him exiled from senior action. Although a loan spell at Borussia Dortmund reignited his form and he rejoined United for their pre-season tour in the U.S., concerns about his role have resurfaced after he was left out of the squad for the Premier League opener against Fulham.

Sancho was reportedly recovering from an ear infection prior to the match, but Amorim’s blunt comment about preferring other players has sparked speculation over whether Sancho is truly part of the manager’s long-term plans. With the likes of Marcus Rashford, Amad Diallo, Alejandro Garnacho, and Antony currently ahead of him in the selection order, competition for places on the wing remains fierce.

Interest in Sancho has begun to heat up again, with Juventus actively negotiating a potential move. RMC Sport reports that discussions between the Italian giants and United are ongoing, with the Premier League side valuing Sancho at around €30 million (£25 million). Meanwhile, clubs like Chelsea and Barcelona are also reportedly keeping tabs on the situation.

When asked during a press conference whether Sancho would feature in the upcoming game against Brighton, Amorim declined to give a definitive answer but stressed the importance of professionalism and commitment from all his players. He emphasized the need for a strong attitude, even when individuals are left out, and called on everyone to remain focused throughout the long season.
