Manchester United’s coach Ruben Amorim has confirmed a big injury boost for Man United as talented youngster returns to training despite doctor’s out of the season prediction.

Manchester United manager Rúben Amorim is set to welcome goalkeeper Altay Bayindir back into the squad after a lengthy spell on the sidelines. The Turkish international has been out of action since early February, limiting Amorim’s goalkeeping options, especially with third-choice Tom Heaton also unavailable. Bayindir, who has served as Andre Onana’s backup, has made just six appearances this season, including standout performances in the Carabao Cup and an impressive FA Cup display against Arsenal, earning praise from Mikel Arteta.

Reports from club insider “Sully” suggest Bayindir has been progressing well in training and is close to a return. Having resumed work on the pitch last week, he has significantly improved his fitness levels, focusing on strength and rehabilitation. His imminent comeback comes at a crucial time as United prepares for a challenging run of fixtures.

Meanwhile, several other injured players are also making strides in their recoveries. Harry Maguire has resumed training on grass and is likely to be one of the first to return to action. The defender, alongside young midfielder Kobbie Mainoo, was back in training earlier this week. Luke Shaw has also been working on his rehabilitation, though he still has some way to go before being cleared for selection. Leny Yoro is showing positive signs in his recovery, though it remains uncertain whether he has resumed full training.

Elsewhere, Amad Diallo is targeting a return to group training next month, while veteran defender Jonny Evans remains slightly behind schedule in his recovery. Youngster Ayden Heaven has avoided a serious injury but is expected to be out for a few weeks.
