Former Chelsea Star and Manager Frank Lampard reveals reason he recently stayed away from Cristiano Ronaldo despite being in same hotel

Frank Lampard explained why he avoided Cristiano Ronaldo on holiday, despite staying in the same hotel as the Portuguese mega-star.
On Tuesday, Francisco Conceicao scored a 92nd-minute goal to help Roberto Martinez’s Portugal come from behind and defeat the Czech Republic 2-1 in Group F.
Ronaldo and his Portugal teammates struggled in front of goal throughout the match, with the five-time Ballon d’Or winner missing numerous important opportunities.
Despite a lackluster performance in the Euro 2024 opening, Ronaldo made history by becoming the first player to appear in six European Championships, beginning with his debut in 2004.
Lampard, who is still in great form at 39, told the BBC that he avoided Ronaldo on vacation, citing physical humiliation as the reason.
The England and Chelsea icon, who was staying in the same hotel as Ronaldo a few months ago, quipped that he couldn’t get close to the superstar most of the time and donned a t-shirt when posing for a photo because of the Al Nassr forward’s “amazing” body.
Lampard stated, “I ran saw him on vacation a few months back; I was in the same hotel on the beach, and thankfully, his sunspot each day was a bit lower than mine.

“I pulled him over for a photo with my kid because he’s such a great player, and I immediately put on my t-shirt and took a lovely picture with him.
“I saw him going to the gym twice a day with his personal trainer. It only shows how dedicated he is to his work.
“I was sipping a beer and giving him a round of applause as he walked back!”
