Man Utd fans are ‘done’ with ONE player after turning on him during Southampton win

Manchester United supporters have expressed their frustration with Rasmus Hojlund following the team’s 3-1 comeback victory over Southampton on Thursday. While the win marked a return to form for United in the Premier League, with Amad Diallo stealing the show by scoring a sensational second-half hat-trick, the focus of many fans online was on Hojlund’s underwhelming performance.
Hojlund, who was substituted shortly after the second half began, struggled to make an impact during his time on the pitch, barely managing any significant involvement. His lackluster display prompted a wave of criticism on social media, with fans voicing their discontent over his performance.
One supporter on X shared their frustration, stating, “Done with Hojlund now. I thought this system might have worked for him, but another game ghosted.” Another criticized his approach to the game, saying, “He’s so cowardly in how he plays, always trying to win a free kick rather than actually winning a duel.” A third fan was even harsher, calling Hojlund the “worst centre forward to play for United in my lifetime.”
Others pointed out his repeated failure to seize opportunities. “You can’t just be given opportunity after opportunity and fail to capitalize on it consistently, his hold-up play is non-existent,” one fan lamented. Another criticized his movement, stating, “Hojlund getting no service is a total myth. His movement so far today has been absolutely atrocious.”
The Danish striker, who joined United from Atalanta for a hefty £72 million, has managed to score just two league goals this season, a return that has left fans increasingly dissatisfied.
