VERY SAD NEWS has been announced for Real Madrid Star Vini Jr during thier last La Liga game and he wont be available against Liverpool in the champions league
Real Madrid’s Brazilian winger Vinícius Júnior will miss the upcoming Champions League match against Liverpool due to a hamstring injury. The 24-year-old suffered the injury in his left leg and is expected to be out for nearly a month, according to Spanish media reports. This means he will also miss the Champions League match against Atalanta on December 10.
Vinícius played the full 90 minutes in Real Madrid’s 3-0 win over Leganés in La Liga on Sunday, providing an assist for Kylian Mbappé’s opening goal. Despite his stellar form this season, outshining summer signing Mbappé, Vinícius will now be sidelined.
The Brazilian has been in impressive form, scoring four Champions League goals in four appearances and eight La Liga goals in 13 matches. He also finished second in the Ballon d’Or voting.
Real Madrid has had a shaky start to their European campaign, losing two of their opening four matches. They were defeated by Lille and AC Milan in their most recent Champions League fixtures, leaving them 18th in the expanded group table.
In contrast, Liverpool leads both the Champions League standings and the Premier League under new coach Arne Slot.
