Man united new manager Ruben Amorim has warn £60M Man united player to find a new club or r!sk contract termination

Rúben Amorim has reportedly agreed in principle to become Manchester United’s next manager following Erik ten Hag’s dismissal. According to the Manchester Evening News, the Portuguese coach is set to take over at Old Trafford, with the club currently negotiating a compensation package with Sporting CP. Ten Hag was relieved of his duties on Monday morning, less than 24 hours after United’s 2-1 defeat to West Ham United.

If Amorim is appointed, fans could see significant tactical changes, including the introduction of his preferred 3-4-3 system. This formation, which utilizes wing-backs, has been central to his success in Portugal. The setup provides defensive solidity while enabling dynamic attacking transitions, as wing-backs contribute defensively by forming a back-five and offensively by joining the attack. While United currently lack depth in left-sided defensive options, this issue could resolve itself as injured players return.

Andre Onana is expected to retain his position as first-choice goalkeeper. Since joining from Inter Milan in July 2023, he has improved significantly, showcasing his shot-stopping skills, as evidenced by his standout double save against Fenerbahce last week. Onana’s ball-playing ability, a key factor in his signing as David de Gea’s successor, remains a valuable asset for United’s style of play.

In defense, a 3-4-3 system would require three central defenders. United strengthened their options during the summer by signing Matthijs de Ligt from Bayern Munich and Leny Yoro from Lille. De Ligt has had a mixed start to his United career, while Yoro, recovering from a metatarsal injury sustained during pre-season, is expected to make his debut later this year. Once fit, Yoro is seen as a potential cornerstone of United’s defense, working alongside experienced players like Lisandro Martinez and De Ligt.

Bruno Fernandes remains club captain and a key creative force, although his performances this season have been inconsistent. Restoring Fernandes to his best form will be one of Amorim’s main challenges if he takes the reins at Old Trafford.

Up front, United’s attacking trio may remain unchanged, with Rasmus Højlund leading the line, flanked by Alejandro Garnacho and Marcus Rashford. This combination, used in Ten Hag’s final game in charge, offers both pace and technical quality, making it a likely option for Amorim’s initial lineup.

Manchester United’s potential starting XI under Amorim could feature Onana in goal, Yoro, De Ligt, and Martinez in defense, Dalot and Mazraoui as wing-backs, Mainoo and Fernandes in midfield, and Rashford, Højlund, and Garnacho leading the attack.
