Jarrod Bowen clinched a late victory for West Ham, converting a penalty in injury time to seal a 2-1 triumph over Manchester United and alleviate some of the pressure on manager Julen Lopetegui.
Manchester United thought they had secured a draw when Casemiro headed in a goal just under ten minutes from time, leveling the score after Crysencio Summerville’s opener in the 74th minute.

Despite United’s protests over a possible handball by Ings, Coote awarded the penalty, which Bowen confidently slotted past Andre Onana.
United had dominated possession and created numerous chances during the first half at the London Stadium, but their inability to finish proved costly.
West Ham, following a quiet first half, improved significantly after the break, mounting consistent attacks on United’s defense and eventually finding the net when Summerville tapped in from Ings’ mishit shot.
