Leny Yoro is BACK! 🔥 Man Utd’s £52m star returns to training after surgery! 💪💥

Manchester United have received a major boost with the return of young defender Leny Yoro to training. The 18-year-old, who joined from Lille this summer in a significant £52 million ($68 million) transfer, is back on the training ground after undergoing surgery for a foot injury he sustained shortly after arriving at the club.

Yoro has begun light training at Carrington, working individually as he continues his rehabilitation. The defender is being gradually eased back into action, spending time both on the pitch and in the gym as Manchester United carefully manage his recovery and fitness.

The talented defender was one of United’s key summer signings, with the club beating out Real Madrid to secure his signature. Unfortunately, due to the injury that required surgery, Yoro has not yet made his debut for the team. While there is excitement over his return, the club remains cautious, noting that there is still “a lot of work to be done” before he is ready for competitive action.

Before joining United, Yoro was a standout performer for Lille, making 44 appearances across all competitions and scoring three goals. His impressive form earned him a place in the 2023-24 Ligue 1 Team of the Year, and he was a highly sought-after talent by several top European clubs.

As Yoro continues his recovery, Manchester United are set to face Fenerbahce in the Europa League on Thursday, a match that will see former United manager Jose Mourinho leading the Turkish side, adding an extra layer of intrigue to the fixture.
