Former Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane continues to be linked with the surprising possibility of becoming Manchester United’s next manager.

Manchester United midfielder Casemiro has lauded Zidane’s standout quality as a coach, pointing to his exceptional ability to build strong relationships with players in the locker room.

The French coach, who has been without a team since departing Real Madrid in 2021, has recently been rumored as a potential replacement for Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford.

Although Ten Hag remains at the helm for now, set to lead United against Brentford this weekend, he faces mounting pressure due to the club’s recent poor run of form. United are currently on a five-game winless streak, including three Premier League matches without a goal.

With Thomas Tuchel now appointed as England’s head coach, the pool of top-level managers available is shrinking, making Zidane’s name resurface. Zidane, who has only managed Real Madrid, has been previously linked to the Manchester United role multiple times.
