BREAKING NEWS as the Richest man in the world plans to Buy Manchester United as Jim Ratcliffe ‘raised prospect’ of Elon Musk buying $486,000,000,000 fortune to buy the club.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe reportedly explored the possibility of involving Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos in funding his acquisition of shares in Manchester United before finalizing his investment.
Last December, Ratcliffe secured a £1.2 billion deal for a 27.7% stake in the club, completing the transaction earlier this year. He has since raised his ownership to 28.94% by spending an additional £79 million to acquire another 1.24% stake.
Reports from The Athletic suggest that prior to his initial purchase, Ratcliffe considered private funding and entertained the idea of Musk, Tesla’s CEO, and Bezos, Amazon’s founder, contributing financially. It is believed he thought the prestige of owning a piece of Manchester United might intrigue the billionaires, given their immense financial capabilities.
The Bloomberg Billionaires Index places Musk’s net worth at $486 billion and Bezos’s at $246 billion, but there is no indication that either of them expressed interest or that these discussions advanced further. Musk, who has no history of sports ownership, has been speculated as a potential investor in English football, possibly inspired by figures like Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.
Despite Ratcliffe’s increased stake in the club, the funds are not expected to be directed towards strengthening Manchester United’s squad during the next transfer window. The team continues to struggle through a tough season, enduring a seventh league defeat last Sunday against Bournemouth at Old Trafford. Currently sitting in 13th place in the Premier League with 22 points, manager Ruben Amorim’s side faces Wolves on Boxing Day and Newcastle United on December 30 as their final fixtures of the year.
