Coming live from Fabrizio Romano, “I didn’t have the privilege to spend most of my career with rashford. But one thing I will tell the world he’s a great lad and he’s better than mbappe I spoke to him yesterday and honestly he’s passing through a lot, he’s trying hard to come out of it but the press and the england fans are not helping. He cares a lot about the club but right now he’s really in a dark place”. Former united star Ibrahimovic has called for united to let him leave the Club either permanent or on loan or give him all the support he needs. According to Reports, Ibrahimovic believes it might be best for Marcus Rashford to leave the Red Devils this summer. He stated that the Englishman has been stuck at the club and needs a change to fulfill his potential. No one really knows what his mentality is but he’s going through a lot- Former Manchester United star Nicky Butt expresses concern over Marcus Rashford.

Former Manchester United forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic has hinted that Marcus Rashford could benefit from leaving the club this summer. Ibrahimovic believes that Rashford has been with Manchester United for an extended period and that a new environment might help him unlock his full potential.

Echoing this sentiment, former Manchester United midfielder Nicky Butt, who has known Rashford since his youth, voiced concerns about the striker’s current form. Butt acknowledged Rashford’s undeniable talent but pointed out that he has struggled to deliver his best performances in recent years. “I’ve known Marcus since he was a young boy at Manchester United, and we’ve always seen great potential in him. I still think he has what it takes to become one of the world’s top players,” Butt remarked.

Butt expressed his disappointment over Rashford’s recent form at Manchester United and suggested that a change of clubs might be necessary for him to rediscover his best game. “It’s tough to watch him not performing at his peak for Manchester United lately. We’ve all been waiting for him to turn things around, but maybe a fresh start is what he needs. Although we can’t fully grasp his mindset, his talent is unquestionable. He’s an outstanding footballer,” Butt added.

Butt also addressed the criticism that Rashford has received from fans and commentators, who have questioned his dedication and body language on the field. He defended Rashford, saying, “People claim he doesn’t care, but I can tell you that’s not true. He’s a sincere individual who is deeply invested in his performances. Perhaps a new club would allow him to relax and escape the constant pressure. Rashford has become a scapegoat for Manchester United’s struggles, but it’s not entirely his fault—the entire team needs to step up.”

Rashford has found it difficult to regain his top form since the start of the 2023-24 season. Despite playing 245 minutes in the Premier League, he has yet to score or assist. His 83-minute appearance in the Community Shield also lacked a significant impact. Although Rashford has come close to creating several goal-scoring opportunities—most notably with missed chances by teammates Joshua Zirkzee and Alejandro Garnacho—his overall performance has fallen short of expectations.

Rashford’s struggles were also evident last season. In 33 Premier League appearances, he managed only seven goals and three assists, along with two additional assists in the UEFA Champions League. Despite rumors of a possible transfer to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) this summer, Rashford remained with Manchester United.

The ongoing concerns about Marcus Rashford’s future at Manchester United continue to grow. Both Ibrahimovic and Butt believe that a change of scenery might be exactly what Rashford needs to rejuvenate his career and fulfill the immense promise he has shown since his early days at the club.
