Walker told fellow co-host Chris Huges, “I am really going to attempt this season to get a couple more goals, because I think I get in nice areas”. “You know, I am 34-years-old now; I need to start adding that to my game,” he said.

Such was the hope in being able to score a goal for Manchester City this season; Walker even vowed to take Hughes out for lunch the next day after scoring for Pep Guardiola’s team.

Having given zero goals of his own but supplemented by five assists across all competitions in 47 appearances, a goal would reflect a notable increase from Kyle Walker’s production last season.

With knowledge in many different spheres that officials in Saudi Arabia praised his skills, the continuous summer transfer window has also arrived with some residual questions about the future of the full-back.

Given such flimsy assertions, little has changed, and Kyle Walker is now anticipated to stay in Manchester beyond the current summer transfer window and into the brand-new campaign while maybe maintaining his role as club captain.
