Manchester City star waves ‘goodbye’ to Guardiola with transfer to Real Madrid now on the verge deal almost done

Based on rumors, Man City striker Julian Alvarez is getting closer to a summer transfer to Real Madrid under “on track.”

On the penultimate day of the season, Pep Guardiola’s team defeated Arsenal to first position by two points, so winning the fourth consecutive Premier League title for the Citizens.

Given rumors that Guardiola may depart at the conclusion of his contract in 2025, that solidified him as among the finest managers the English top flight has ever seen.

Along with some of Guardiola’s best players and ties to the England manager’s position after Gareth Southgate, a transfer away this summer has also drawn links.

Among the players connected with a transfer away before the window closes are Alvarez, Kevin de Bruyne, Bernardo Silva, Ederson, and Jack Grealish.

Originally said Man City is demanding for about £60m for Alvarez, a subsequent rumor suggested they cut their price to £40m as they seek to offload a disgruntled player before August ends.

Alvarez reportedly is unhappy with his minutes under Guardiola and the Man City striker has said he “will decide” his future following the Olympics.
