: “It’s difficult to be totally honest. Football has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.” -Former Manchester United player Paul Pogba publicly speaks about his 4-year ban from football
Juventus player Paul Pogba has acknowledged that since he was banned from football four years ago earlier this year, he has had challenges.
Following a failed drug test, Pogba received the ban from NADO Italia, the anti-doping body.
His system was determined to have high testosterone levels; the findings of a “B” sample also came back positive.
Currently earning the minimal pay permitted under such circumstances, the Frenchman was also suspended by his team Juve.
Pogba remarked in a Forbes interview: “Being really honest is challenging. My life has included football for as long as I can recall. Still, things are simpler since I have my family, my faith, friends, and supporters. All will be well.
Now the France international is presenting his case to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
He said: “Although I can not talk about this much, all paths lead to the appeal date. My priorities till then include keeping in shape and eagerly awaiting the appeal.
