Manchester United have agreed on personal terms with Manuel Ugarte for a potential summer transfer, as reported by Fabrizio Romano. However, the move is not guaranteed yet, with ongoing discussions about the transfer fee with Paris Saint-Germain. Sir Jim Ratcliffe is also considering alternative options if a more affordable deal cannot be reached.
The club has already been proactive in the transfer market, investing £88.7 million in Joshua Zirkzee and Leny Yoro, who joined on consecutive weekends. Yet, Manchester United’s transfer activity is far from over. Sir Jim Ratcliffe, a minority shareholder, acknowledges that significant further improvements are needed to elevate the team to the top tier of English football for the 2024/25 season.
