Manchester City playmaker Kevin De Bruyne receives £1million-a-week offer to leave Manchester City this summer
Kevin De Bruyne, Manchester City’s playmaker, will turn down a lucrative £1 million-per-week offer to join Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad this summer.
After reviewing the prospective transfer with his family, the Belgian decided to stay with the Premier League winners.
Laurent Blanc, Al-Ittihad’s manager, expressed confidence in the club’s chances of signing De Bruyne.
However, according to the UK Mirror, the footballer will stay with Pep Guardiola’s team for at least another year owing to family upheaval fears.
De Bruyne and his wife, Michele, have “specific misgivings about altering the schooling of eldest son Mason Milian.”
However, the 33-year-old is currently in the final year of his current deal.
