PSG plans a £90 million bid for Manchester United star and Barcelona target as dramatic takeover takes shape. Jadon Sancho may be practicing with Manchester United again, but he is expected to leave this summer, with Paris Saint-Germain apparently interested in him.

Jadon Sancho is back in training with Manchester United, but his future remains uncertain as Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is reportedly interested in acquiring him.

The 24-year-old winger spent part of last season on loan at Borussia Dortmund after a fallout with United manager Erik ten Hag. During his time with Dortmund, Sancho displayed notable form, playing a crucial role in their Champions League campaign, including a standout performance against PSG in the semi-final. This display appears to have caught the eye of PSG’s coach, Luis Enrique.

According to Sky Sports News, PSG has yet to officially approach Manchester United but has investigated the terms for a potential transfer. While Borussia Dortmund and Juventus have shown interest, neither club is prepared to meet Sancho’s valuation of around £40 million at this time. PSG might need to negotiate a lower fee to secure the deal.

Manchester United is inclined to sell Sancho this summer, though there remains a slight possibility he could stay at Old Trafford.

In addition to Sancho, PSG is also pursuing another winger, Nico Williams of Athletic Bilbao. The 22-year-old had a stellar performance during Spain’s Euro 2024 triumph, attracting interest from several top clubs. Barcelona is currently in pole position, having expressed willingness to activate Williams’ release clause of approximately £50 million. They have also made a contract offer, but their financial constraints could affect their ability to finalize the deal.

Chelsea and Arsenal have shown interest in Williams but have not yet submitted formal offers. PSG, however, could easily meet the £50 million requirement, and Enrique, familiar with Williams from his tenure as Spain’s head coach, is keen on the player. PSG has reportedly reached out to Williams’ representatives and is seen as Barcelona’s main competitor for his signature.

Despite PSG’s interest, Williams is inclined to stay in Spain, preferring a move to Barcelona if the opportunity arises. Nonetheless, PSG’s persistent interest keeps the possibility of signing both Sancho and Williams alive.
