Manchester City has just loaned out Thier £45million Star player who has more assist than Phil Foden last season
Over the present summer transfer period, Manchester City has seen numerous players depart from the team.
The Blues have specifically seen Sergio Gomez, Liam Delap, Taylor Harwood-Bellis depart the club on permanent terms to join other teams.
City have also proved in past transfer seasons that they are not opposed lending certain players to other teams momentarily.
The Blues have loaned more veteran players like Joao Cancelo, even while they have loaned young players like James McAtee and Josh Wilson-Esbrand in an attempt to get them regular game time abroad.
Keeping this in mind, some behind-the-scenes information about another player now on Pep Guardiola’s team who may be packing before the window shuts has surfaced.
Man City may loan Kalvin Phillips this summer.
The Athletic recently published a paper with this on point analysis.
It said: “Kalvin Phillips has attention from Premier League teams but a loan is most likely.”
Currently undergoing preseason team training in America, the 28-year-old might earn some minutes in their forthcoming friendly games against Celtic, AC Milan, Barcelona, and Chelsea.
Phillips has to start his career right once.
City spent £45m to buy Phillips from Leeds United back in the summer transfer window per Sky Sports.
Following only a few games in his first season-and- a-half at the Etihad Stadium, the Englishman was loaned out of West Ham United in the preceding January transfer window.
Having only started three of the eight Premier League games he participated in for the East London club, Hammer striker Michail Antonio revealed back in April that Phillips was suffering with confidence loss.
Should the midfielder not be expected to be getting much game time at City next season, his best course of action would be to join another team where he would be playing consistently and help to bring his career back on track.
From City’s perspective, they will have to choose either of loaning him out once again or locating a club ready to pay a reasonable cost to sign the best course of action for them.
