Adrien Rabiot ‘Dreaming’ of Joining Man Utd After Leny Yoro! Exciting news for Manchester United fans! French midfielder Adrien Rabiot has expressed his desire to join the Red Devils, inspired by the recent addition of promising young talent Leny Yoro. Rabiot, known for his elegance on the ball and versatility, believes that United’s dynamic squad is the perfect fit for his ambitions. As the transfer window heats up, stay tuned for more updates on this potential game-changing move. Could this be the midfield boost United needs to dominate the Premier League?

Adrien Rabiot is now a free agent after his departure from Juventus at the end of last season, and he reportedly dreams of joining Manchester United, as per journalist Abdellah Boulma.

Rabiot had a notable five-year tenure in Turin, winning the Serie A title in 2020 and making 212 appearances, during which he scored 22 goals. Despite Juventus’ efforts to secure him with a new contract, the French midfielder declined and is looking for a new opportunity this summer.

Manchester United, having shown interest previously, allegedly offered the 29-year-old a three-year contract earlier this month. The Red Devils are looking to strengthen their midfield, and according to Boulma, Rabiot would eagerly accept an offer from them.

Rabiot, who rose through Paris Saint-Germain’s esteemed academy, made over 227 appearances for the French club, securing five league titles. His consistent performances earned him a spot in Didier Deschamps’ France team and eventually led to his move to Juventus in 2019 on a free transfer.

Now, five years later, Rabiot is once again a free agent, having turned down a new contract with Juventus. Responding to a post on X by Fabrizio Romano, journalist Boulma revealed that Rabiot dreams of moving to Manchester United.

United is reportedly in search of a new central midfielder this summer, with speculation surrounding Casemiro’s potential exit from Old Trafford. While PSG’s Manuel Ugarte has been considered for a transfer, Rabiot might be a more cost-effective option and has been praised as “world-class” by David Trezeguet.

Ugarte’s valuation stands at £45 million, whereas signing Rabiot would primarily involve covering his wages. With significant expenditures already made on Leny Yoro and Joshua Zirkzee, and reports suggesting United needs to offload players before acquiring another defender, financial prudence seems to be a priority for the club’s management.

Nevertheless, Rabiot’s playing style might not complement Kobbie Mainoo as well as Ugarte’s would, which is a consideration for United as they seek a long-term midfield partner for Mainoo.

United’s Continued Pursuit of Forwards
Interest in Toney and Calvert-Lewin persists
Despite sporting director Dan Ashworth’s efforts to enhance Erik ten Hag’s defensive and midfield options, rumors continue to link United with additional striker signings. Following Zirkzee’s £36.5 million move from Bologna to support Rasmus Hojlund, it seems INEOS is not yet satisfied with the current attacking lineup.

United is reportedly still eyeing Brentford’s Ivan Toney, who could be available for £60 million. Toney scored four Premier League goals after returning from a betting suspension last season. Additionally, Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin remains on United’s radar, with internal discussions ongoing about the feasibility of acquiring the Toffees’ number nine.
