Manchester City striker leaves Guardiola’s side this morning to join Premier League Rivals for Shocking transfer fee
Liam Delap, a Manchester City striker, has permanently signed for Ipswich Town, a freshly promoted Premier League team.
September 2020 saw the Man City first team debut of the England Under-21 international under Pep Guardiola.
As Guardiola’s team defeated Bournemouth 2-1 in the Carabao Cup third-round contest at the Etihad Stadium, he scored a fantastic goal.
Delap subsequently made six professional games for Man City, including a Champions League trip away to Sporting in February 2021 and a Premier League bow against Leicester in September 2020.
Past loan spells for him were at Stoke City and Preston North End.
“Everyone at City wishes Liam the very best of luck going ahead,” Man City’s comment on Saturday said in part.
