One such ambitious plan involves Chelsea’s attempt to bring Victor Osimhen to Stamford Bridge this summer. The Nigerian striker is one of the most coveted players of this transfer window, but he comes with a hefty price tag. Napoli’s asking price of £84.6 million is a significant obstacle, as few clubs can afford such an amount, even for a player of Osimhen’s caliber.
Chelsea, however, believes they have a strategy to reduce Napoli’s fee substantially. According to TEAMtalk, the Blues are considering including some of their surplus talents as part of the deal for Osimhen.
One likely candidate for inclusion is Romelu Lukaku, who is set to leave West London and has caught Napoli’s eye as a potential replacement for their own departing star.
