Former Manchester United Player and Inter Miami Owmer David Beckham is set to sign Manchester United FLOP this summer after leaving United
Raphael Varane, a Manchester United reject, is someone David Beckham wants to add to his roster of Inter Miami superstars.
The possibility of Varane, 31, joining Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Sergio Busquets, and Jordi Alba at Chase Stadium the next season has been discussed. Varane departed Old Trafford when his contract ended at the end of the previous campaign.
During his three injury-plagued seasons in Manchester, the Frenchman paid United an incredible £85 million in salaries and transfer costs, while playing in only 68 Premier League games. To raise the prominence of the Florida-based team even further, Miami owner Beckham is prepared to give Varane one last MLS pay day.
Entering the last four months of the season, the team has played 20 games and is presently atop the MLS standings. While Varane is free to sign contracts now that he is a free agent, the transfer window is open from July 18 until August 14.
It will be alluring to reconnect with some of his former rivals from his heyday. Despite his physical concerns, Varane was a beloved member of the United team and, in his farewell game, helped the Reds defeat rivals Manchester City in the FA Cup farewell.
Also, Varane sent a heartfelt note to United supporters prior of the championship game, which Erik ten Hag’s team won 2-1 due to goals from rookies Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo.
“Playing for this particular club and wearing that uniform has been a fantastic few years,” Varane remarked. “As a Manchester United player, my first visit to Old Trafford was incredible; the atmosphere was incredible.”Attending Wembley is an experience that fans will never forget. It was very incredible to be a part of that moment [winning the Carabao Cup] with them. We had a challenging season, but I have a lot of optimism for the future.
