Chelsea are considering a move for Ademola Lookman as Enzo Maresca seeks to bolster his attacking lineup this summer. The 26-year-old enjoyed an impressive season at Atalanta, notably scoring a hat-trick in the Europa League final against Bayer Leverkusen in May. Lookman concluded the season with 17 goals and 10 assists in 45 appearances, capturing the interest of several top European clubs.

According to Calciomercato, Chelsea are among the clubs interested in Lookman and are ready to make an offer close to the €60 million (£51 million) asking price, despite Lookman having joined Atalanta for just €15 million (£12.7 million) less than two years ago.

Lookman’s career has included a loan at RB Leipzig before joining them permanently in July, followed by loan stints at Fulham and Leicester. At Leicester, he made a strong impression with eight goals and five assists in 42 appearances, but eventually opted to join Atalanta on a permanent basis.

If Chelsea manage to secure Lookman’s signature, they would be adding a player with substantial Premier League experience. Known for his speed and direct approach, Lookman typically plays on the left wing and has a talent for both scoring and assisting goals. His arrival would add much-needed pace and productivity to Chelsea’s attacking options.
