Former Roma and Manchester United Boss Jose Mourinho is set to Sign Manchester United Star after he was announced new manager of Fenerbahce
It has been speculated that Victor Lindelof could not be the only Manchester United player joining Jose Mourinho at Fenerbahce this summer.
Aimed for a reunion is Sweden defender Lindelof, who joined United under Mourinho’s leadership. Erik ten Hag, who played the centre-back infrequently last term in an injury-hit campaign, is thought to have blessed the transfer.
Having placed second in the Super Lig previous term, Fener is also thought to be fixated on Casemiro. Linked with a summer exit, the Brazilian had a challenging second season at Old Trafford.
In the past, particularly when he brought Nemanja Matic to Roma during his tenure there, Mourinho has pushed for get-togethers with his former players. Although he didn’t oversee Casemiro at Old Trafford, he knew the Brazilian from their brief stay at Real Madrid.
Casemiro first loaned himself to Madrid during Paulo’s last season at Bernabeu. He made his debut under Portuguese, although he was more noticeable under succeeding coaches.
Sporx claims that Mario Branco, the Fenerbahce sports director, is starting to consider if Casemiro would be too expensive for the Turkish club. The Brazil international joined United for ÂŁ60m, but when he goes he is not anticipated to bring in anything like that.
Let alone at Old Trafford, a summer departure for Casemiro might help United free money to reinforce in other areas, as one of the Premier League highest earners. The Saudi Pro League has also shown interest in line with similar actions for ex-United pair Cristiano Ronaldo and Alex Telles over the past eighteen months.
Midway through the season, United activated a one-year contract extension for Lindelof. With his term running out in the summer of 2025, a departure is still possible nonetheless.
