Live from FABRIZIO ROMANO via strike90mins Chelsea has sign the deal with a teenage Barcelona forward marc Gulu, whose release clause with the Catalans is just €6m. Chelsea fans are so delighted about the player, can’t wait to see the special forward player in Stamford bridge.

Chelsea have begun talks with Barcelona about acquiring teenage forward Marc Guiu, whose release clause is a modest €6 million.
Guiu made headlines in October when he became Barcelona’s youngest and quickest debutant scorer, netting the decisive goal against Athletic Bilbao just 23 seconds after entering the match. He further showcased his talent by scoring in a Champions League game against Royal Antwerp, concluding his breakthrough season with two goals in seven senior appearances.
Spanish journalist Guillem Balague reports that Chelsea has approached Guiu, who could be available for just €6 million (£5 million). The 18-year-old’s current contract expires in 2025, and Barcelona has faced challenges in securing him to a new and improved deal. Sevilla is also showing interest in the young forward.
Guiu was a joint-top scorer at the 2023 U-17 European Championship, alongside club and international teammate Lamine Yamal and Germany’s Paris Brunner and Robert Renak. Seeing Yamal, who is two years younger, advance into Barcelona’s senior and Spain’s national teams, Guiu might consider leaving to further his career development.
Chelsea is continuing its strategy of signing emerging talent, having already agreed to a £29 million deal to sign Palmeiras wonderkid Estevao Willian in 2025. Additionally, the Blues are interested in Aston Villa forward Jhon Duran and Atletico Madrid striker Samu Omorodion.
