Man City manager Pep Guardiola is set to leave Manchester City next summer and he has been linked to join Thier Rival Club Manchester United in shocking move
Though he had before said he might see himself managing Manchester United one day, Pep Guardiola has discounted the prospect of a move there after his contract with City expires.
Currently in the last 12 months of his contract, the Spanish strategist, who has six Premier League medals, two FA Cups, four League Cups and a sought-after Champions League trophy with City since his departure from Bayern Munich eight years ago, is Insiders see Guardiola leaving the Etihad at the end of the 2024/25 season.
Having been invited on a phone conversation by Sir Alex Ferguson to discuss the team, Guardiola admitted before joining the Citizens two years earlier that he could picture himself at the helm at Old Trafford. In his book Pep Confidential, close friend and writer Marti Perarnau of Guardiola noted of the manager: “I enjoy this environment. One day I could picture myself here coaching.
