This will be a good deal for man united. This news has delighted the fans🙀🙀🙀

Manchester United are reportedly nearing the completion of a transfer for Everton center-back Jarrad Branthwaite, with finalization expected within the next few days, according to a reliable source. Branthwaite has been a primary target for Manchester United for several months, but the process is now accelerating. The Liverpool Echo reports that Everton will likely struggle to retain the 21-year-old.

Officials at Old Trafford anticipate that the deal will be sealed before June 30.

Although there have been suggestions that Everton needs to make substantial sales by the end of the month to comply with the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR), the Echo points to a different reason for the urgency. Branthwaite’s omission from England’s Euro 2024 squad has seemingly provided Manchester United with the opportunity to fast-track the transfer.

Despite their financial issues, Everton are demanding a significant fee for Branthwaite. Reports indicate they value him on par with Harry Maguire, who moved from Leicester City to Manchester United in the summer of 2019. The Liverpool Echo adds that Everton insiders claim any sale from Sean Dyche’s squad will only proceed if the buying club meets their valuation and the player wishes to leave. Branthwaite, who is contracted with Everton until 2027, is considered to have a premium value due to his English nationality and left-footedness.

However, Manchester United have an upper hand in these negotiations due to Everton’s financial predicament. Last season, Everton faced a relegation threat because of points deductions from PSR breaches, and a repeat situation this season could lead to their relegation to the Championship for the first time.

Given the complexities of this deal, it’s difficult to predict Branthwaite’s exact transfer fee. The Manchester United target has an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €26.2 million (£22.2 million), a figure that has risen significantly since the start of the season.
