Manchester City Star And Argentina World Cup winner Julian Alvarez will become the most HATED player after he’s set to complete shocking transfer to Premier League Rivals

According to sources in Spain, Manchester City has already rejected Atletico Madrid’s proposal for Julian Alvarez, while Chelsea is considering a move for the Argentine attacker.

Alvarez has recently completed his second season at City, scoring 19 goals for Pep Guardiola’s team, which won their fourth Premier League title in a succession.

The 24-year-old appeared in 54 games in all competitions, ranking tenth among City’s outfield players in terms of minutes played this season.

However, Marca says that Alvarez is pondering a transfer to acquire greater notoriety since he knows he will always be behind Erling Haaland at City.

According to the source, Atletico has previously approached City about a potential move for Alvarez, but the Premier League champions have ‘flatly declined’ the offer.

Even if City were to contemplate selling, a minimum price of €80 million (£67.9 million) before add-ons would be prohibitively expensive for Atletico.

Alvarez joined City for an initial £14 million cost from River Plate in 2022 and has three years remaining on his deal.

City’s resolute position does not bode well for Chelsea, who, according to rumors in Argentina, are planning their own approach for Alvarez.

Chelsea’s hierarchy has a great connection with City, having recruited Cole Palmer and Raheem Sterling in recent years, while Mateo Kovacic moved from Stamford Bridge to the Etihad Stadium last summer.

However, persuading City to let Alvarez depart would be tough, considering his demonstrated flexibility and goal-scoring abilities since entering the Premier League.

Paris Saint-Germain has also shown an interest in signing Alvarez before the start of the next season, as they want to replace Kylian Mbappe, who has joined Real Madrid.
