City’s number 31, dubbed as “special” by Joleon Lescott in the Daily Mail, has lasted seven years with the club and has gone on to become a legend.

On the Ranks FC podcast, Dean Jones suggested that Manchester City might consider selling Ederson for £50 million this summer.
Jones stated, “The last rumors indicated that the bid would be approximately £25 million. I don’t believe City would sell him for £25 million, but there is an open mind about how this issue may develop.”
“I believe that if that amount escalated, you would have to offer close to £50 million for Ederson, and they would have to make a choice, which I could see happening.”
£50 million would be a reasonable fee for Ederson.
Given Ederson’s two-year contract, £50 million or a cost in that range would be a decent deal for Manchester City. The Sky Blues might earn a £15 million profit as well, having signed the Brazilian international for £35 million in 2017.
The sum would be reasonable from City’s standpoint because, regardless of contract term, the 30-year-old can play for most teams in the globe.
The six-time Premier League winner shows no symptoms of slowing down, and it appears like he can continue to play at the greatest level for many years.
Whether Manchester City should sell Ederson under any circumstances in the summer is a separate discussion, given that he has been a critical part of their spine for years.
