Chelsea names Mauricio Pochettino as their mystery manager replacement.

After rumors of a “mystery manager” under consideration, Chelsea’s hunt to replace Mauricio Pochettino has gotten hot.

Though conjecture over Pochettino’s future had been rife during the year, there was a sense the Argentine had done enough to retain his employment with seven Premier League victories in his last 10 games. But after a season assessment, the Chelsea board and Pochettino decided to call it quits.

Three individuals are under consideration to occupy the post at Stamford Bridge — Ipswich Town’s Kieran McKenna, Enzo Maresca of Leicester City, and Stuttgart’s Sebastian Hoeness. Still under consideration, though, Sky Sports News have revealed is a “mystery guy”.
