“I never played as much as I would have hoped under you, You didn’t believe in me and my ability, I was alwsys on the bench.”-‘I just hope we don’t sign or sell any players until we get a new manager in.’-Chelsea star has apologised to Mauricio Pochettino after his exit! 😲😲
Following his Chelsea departure, Reece James has written Mauricio Pochettino a note of encouragement; he also expresses “sorry” about his absence this season.
Following a great conclusion to the campaign as Chelsea won five straight Premier League victories, Pochettino was anticipated to be awarded a second season with the club.
But after an end-of- season evaluation, Chelsea’s leadership chose to switch manager, effectively ending Pochettino’s rule.
James, however, started just six games under Pochettino because of a hamstring ailment that needed surgery in December.
And in his letter to Pochettino, the Chelsea captain expressed regret for being sidelined for most of the campaign.
James said on Instagram: “Thank you for everything boss.”
From the time we first met, our connection was fantastic.
I am sorry for not playing as much as I would have wished under you; yet, this is also something I cannot control.
When many people questioned me, you trusted in me and assigned me great responsibilities.
Not many people would see, Jesus Perez, Toni Jimenez, Miguel D’Agostino, Sebastiano Pochettino, also deserve a particular mention among the other staff members. Thank you everybody; have great future luck.
Though everyone wants to finish above sixth, Chelsea is a large club; you have to consider where we were at the beginning of the season and during the course of the season—we have been 13th, 12th. Palmer pointed out that last season was exactly the same.
“So returning into Europe is a positive start towards Europe.
“Great credit to the management as every player wants to fight for him and loves him. Right now, we are basically gassing; everyone can see this.
In an interview with MailOnline, Chelsea goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic also spoke about Pochettino before to his leaving. Since they gave me the opportunity and trusted in me, personally I genuinely believe him and the whole coaching team.
