Rocks Stamford bridge as Chelsea owner Todd Boehly have appointed this world class manager as Mouricio Pochettino Replacement, Contract until 2025

The bookies have quickly made Mauricio Pochettino the frontrunner to take over as Manchester United manager following his abrupt exit from Chelsea.

Pochettino has left Stamford Bridge by mutual agreement following just one season in command, it was revealed on Tuesday night.

After a trying year, it appeared like the former Tottenham manager was headed in the right path as he rebuilt Chelsea with a young and inexperienced team, winning the final five league games to finish sixth in the top division.

The Argentinean has left the team following a meeting with the management, nevertheless, and is already vying for other major positionsā€”his status is obviously still quite high.

Erik ten Hag manages Manchester United, but following a dismal year that saw the Red Devils finish eighth in the Premier League and crash out of the Champions League in the group stage, the Dutchman’s career is in jeopardy.

With the FA Cup final against Manchester City on Saturday, Ten Hag may cap off the season on a high, but that might not be enough to keep him at Old Trafford.

Though there are other candidates, Pochettino is the one who the bookies think will take his position if the former Ajax manager is fired. Betfair has him at a 2/1 favorite.
