After being Sacked two days ago Mouricio Pochettino has landed himself another job to join rival Club in England šŸ˜±šŸ˜±

Former Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has already indicated his intention to stay in the Premier League, despite speculations that he is interested in accepting the Manchester United position in the future.

The Blues confirmed on Tuesday evening that they have parted ways with Pochettino by mutual consent following an end-of-season evaluation. In his lone season in command, the 52-year-old struggled to unite a slew of new players, and his team fell to mid-table.

They did, however, reach the Carabao Cup final and the FA Cup semi-finals, which served as spurs for their Premier League campaign. They won seven of their past 10 league games and only lost one, and it was a crushing 5-0 defeat at Arsenal.

If United loses the FA Cup final on Saturday, Chelsea will end the season ahead of them in sixth place and will participate in the Europa League the next season. As the game approaches, curiosity grows over Pochettino’s next position.

According to The Times, Pochettino would be interested in talks with United if Erik ten Hag is fired this summer. Sir Jim Ratcliffe, according to MEN Sport, has not made a decision on the Dutchman’s future and is instead focused on the FA Cup final this weekend.

It is unexpected to see Pochettino connected with the United position after openly saying just two weeks ago that he wanted to stay in England for as long as possible. On Instagram, he wrote: “A proud personal achievement last night ā€“ 400 games in English football.”

“One of the finest decisions I’ve ever made, and I want to keep adding to that number for a long time.” When Ten Hag was named manager of United in 2022, Pochettino was one of the frontrunners.
