FIFA has just made a very sad announcement regarding the officials and referees of the match between Chelsea and Brighton.

Chelsea leads 1-0 at the Amex. Who else? It was Cole Palmer.

He just scored a fantastic header from a faulty cutback from Marc Cucurella. We’re not sure what he meant with his ball in, and it put Palmer in a difficult situation, but the goal machine took it first time and found the net.

It was an odd header in the sense that you seldom see a player take a header short of the near post and guide it into the far side net. But if anybody can, it’s Cole Palmer. And he did.

He had no other alternative with the ball, which ultimately worked in his favor because the first-time effort reached the goal.
