Romalu Lukaku, Ian Maatsen, Hakim Ziyech, and Armando Broja are among the players Chelsea intends to cut this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano, with more departures still likely.

The first two years of the Todd Boehly tenure at Stamford Bridge have witnessed a significant player turnover. The Blues permanently signed twelve players last summer.

That required the club to sell a large number of players as well, and 14 of them left permanently.

Big stars like Kai Havertz and Mason Mount were among them, having joined Chelsea’s Premier League rivals for comparatively high sums of money.

It will take further significant exits for the team to stay on the right side of Financial FairPlay rules, since a large expenditure is once more said to be planned.
