Julian Alvarez took Haaland’s place in the 82nd minute after the player had scored four goals for City during their convincing victory.
As he took his spot on the bench, the 23-year-old, who is presently leading the race for the Premier League golden boot, expressed his frustration and insisted that he should have stayed on the field.
With twenty-five goals in the Premier League this year, Haaland leads the scoring rankings.
Cole Palmer of Chelsea and Alexander Isak of Newcastle both have 20 goals apiece, while Ollie Watkins of Aston Villa has 19.
In addition to scoring two penalties, Haaland had given City a 3-0 lead over Wolves.

Pep Guardiola, the manager of City, stated that Haaland was upset that the Wolves players were fouling him so much.
Guardiola stated: “There were a number of long balls into channels that he was dragged [back], but they say it’s not foul,” as quoted by City’s official website.
