Manchester United Owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe set to terminate the contract of TWO Manchester United STAR players after dressing room clash this morning with Manager. What are the even thinking šŸ˜”šŸ˜”šŸ¤¬

Recent reports indicate that Sir Jim Ratcliffe is considering parting ways with two Manchester United players due to what he perceives as excessive contracts.

A formal statement released on the club’s official website has confirmed that Sir Jim Ratcliffe has acquired 25% of the club’s Class B shares and 25% of its Class A shares, following approvals from the Football Association and the Premier League. This development, jointly acknowledged by Manchester United plc (NYSE: MANU) and Trawlers Limitedā€”a company fully owned by Sir Jim Ratcliffeā€”marks a significant shift in the club’s ownership structure.

As part of this transition, Ratcliffe and his INEOS team are poised to oversee the team’s football operations, while the Glazer family will maintain control of the club’s business-related aspects. One immediate strategy outlined by Ratcliffe and his associates involves trimming the club’s wage bill by offloading certain players during the upcoming summer transfer window.

INEOS is reportedly keen on reducing expenditures related to players they believe are earning excessive wages, with French defender Raphael Varane and Brazilian midfielder Casemiro cited as potential departures, according to iNews.

Varane, formerly linked with Real Madrid, is expected to leave upon the expiration of his contract this summer. Meanwhile, Casemiro, the 32-year-old midfield veteran, has reportedly attracted interest from clubs in Saudi Arabia, sparking speculation about his future at Old Trafford.

The managerial situation has also come under scrutiny amid Manchester United’s recent struggles under Erik ten Hag. The team’s current sixth-place standing in the Premier League raises doubts about their chances of qualifying for the Champions League next season.

Following a disappointing 1-1 draw with Burnley at Old Trafford, some fans expressed their dissatisfaction audibly through jeers at the final whistle, reflecting frustration with the team’s performance. Manager Erik ten Hag addressed the outcome, acknowledging that every team experiences vulnerable moments but also highlighting the team’s consistent efforts and creativity on the field.

Despite the setback, Ten Hag remains hopeful about the team’s prospects, stressing the importance of composure and focus going forward. He pointed out the entertaining style of play and promising display seen in the second half of the match as signs of the team’s potential to bounce back and perform at their best in future fixtures.
