“I think my time at Chelsea is Over the fans don’t need me anymore, I try to give Chelsea the best but….-Pochettino is actually gone, that was a tough watch 😭😭
Even though Chelsea beat Tottenham, Mauricio Pochettino gave a strange statement after the game.
Thursday night, Chelsea beat Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 at Stamford Bridge. This kept them in the running for European football and dealt a huge blow to Tottenham Hotspur’s chances of qualifying for the Champions League.
After Trevoh Chalobah scored the first goal, Cole Palmer’s free kick hit the bar and rolled into the path of Nicolas Jackson, who scored into an empty net in the 71st minute to give Chelsea a two-goal lead.
With the win, Chelsea moved up to eighth place, just two points behind Newcastle in seventh place and a possible spot in Europe next season. Tottenham, on the other hand, are now seven points behind Villa in the race for fourth place, though they do have a game in hand.
Even though Chelsea won, Pochettino gave an uncomfortable interview after the game, which has made fans think he might be leaving Chelsea.
Following the game, he told Sky Sports, “Enough is enough.” Every manager needs time to put their thoughts and principles into action.
“If I have time, it’s not up to me to decide.” I’m not sure if the owners are judging me.
“Every week I have to deal with the fact that I am being watched and judged.”
“It’s not up to me to decide if I’ll be here next season or not.”
