Manchester United Owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe is set to terminate the contract of TWO STAR player after dressing room clash this morning with Manager
Legend has it that Sir Jim Ratcliffe wants to get rid of two Manchester United stars whose salaries are too high.
“Manchester United plc (NYSE: MANU), and Trawlers Limited, an entity wholly-owned by Sir Jim Ratcliffe, are pleased to confirm that Sir Jim Ratcliffe has completed his acquisition of 25% of the club’s Class B shares and 25% of the club’s Class A shares, following the satisfaction of all conditions, including approvals from the Football Association and the Premier League,” the club’s website said.
Ratcliffe and his INEOS team will be in charge of the club’s footballing issues, while the Glazers will be in charge of business affairs.
Rumor has it that Ratcliffe and his team are planning to get rid of a few players this summer in order to lower the club’s wage bill.
iNews claimed that the INEOS team wants to get rid of stars like Casemiro and Varane, who they think have “inflated contracts.”
Varane is going to be free to play for anyone when his deal with Real Madrid ends in the summer.
Another player mentioned with a move away from Old Trafford is Casemiro. Reports say that teams in Saudi Arabia are interested in the 32-year-old.
United has had a rough season under Erik ten Hag because they haven’t been able to execute at the expected level.
It doesn’t look like the Red Devils will be in next season’s Champions League as they are currently sixth in the Premier League table.
After Burnley tied the game 1-1 at Old Trafford on Saturday, some fans booed the team when the game was over.
Ten Hag said this after the game: “Every team gives up chances.” But it’s strange when it comes to us. Also, we made a lot of chances.
At the time, we have one of the most exciting and fun teams in the league. We have a lot of chances because we’re playing great football. There was no reason to lose control. We fixed it at halftime, and the second half was much better.
