“I want to Leave” Mouricio Pochettino don’t take me as one of his players anyone, he keeps benching me for an Academy player- £45 million Chelsea Star player WANTS TO terminate his contract with Chelsea
A €35–40 million star player for Chelsea tells the club he wants to leave this summer.
Reports say that Ian Maatsen, a star player for Chelsea, has told the club that he wants to sign a fixed deal with Borussia Dortmund this summer.
Dortmund wanted to keep the left back after loaning him to them in January, and he probably will.
This week, Maatsen got his first Champions League goal, helping Dortmund make it to the semi-finals. Blues fans are pleading with Chelsea not to sell him.
After the game, Maatsen said that he wanted to become a starter at Chelsea before going on loan to Dortmund, a big team in the Bundesliga.
Things have changed, though, and Maatsen now wants to sign with Dortmund for good. The Dutch player is “very happy” at his loan club.
This is what new stories from Germany say; they say that Maatsen has a €35–40m release clause.
Maatsen played for Burnley on loan last season and helped Vincent Kompany’s team win the league title. He was named to the Championship Team of the Season for his efforts.
Maatsen turned down a permanent move to Burnley after Chelsea offered £31.5 million to buy him last summer.
They were willing to sell Maatsen again in January, but he ended up going on loan to Dortmund.
So far, Maatsen has played 17 times for Dortmund. If a deal with Chelsea is reached, he will finally be able to leave at the end of the season.
“I always thought I could play for Chelsea, but…something didn’t work out the way it should have,” The coach told CBS Sports this week.
“Now that I’m here, I’m thankful for the chance.” I’m proud of myself.
As time went on, I kept faith in myself and came here to play my game at the top level. I believe that I did really well today. I’m glad.
