I WANT CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FOOTBALL: Box to Box Stricker Who Have more goal contributions than Erling Haaland this Season Shocks Chelsea Fans, Ready To Join Arsenal Because of UC
Chelsea wants to sign Victor Osimhen, a striker for Napoli, when the summer transfer window opens.
As it stands, Victor Osimhen is at the top of Chelsea’s group of eight possible forwards.
Nash Jackson has scored nine goals for Chelsea this season, and Cole Palmer has scored sixteen in the Premier League.
At the moment, though, it’s clear that Mauricio Pochettino needs more than that. His team is ninth in the table, after all.
Chelsea does, however, have games coming up. If they win, they might have a real chance to play in the Europa League next season.
What Chelsea wants to know before they move for Victor Osimhen
Osimhen’s deal has a clause that lets him get out of his contract.
It will take more than that for Chelsea to sign the 25-year-old this summer, though.
Fabrizio Romano, a trade expert, says that a deal will also rest on a signing-on fee and profits. Chelsea wants to know all of these details before they start negotiating to sign him.
Romano talked about Chelsea and Osimhen on Substack: “The deal doesn’t just depend on the player’s pay; it also depends on a signing-on fee, fees, and a really expensive release clause of between €120m and €130m. There are a lot of things to clear up.”
If Chelsea wants to negotiate, they want to make sure they know how much money they have.
It may be worth it to spend money on Victor Osimhen.
For this reason, it is clear that if Chelsea wants to sign Osimhen during the next transfer window, they will have to pay a lot of money to do so.
But based on how he played last year, it might be worth it. So far this season, Osimhen hasn’t done anything amazing. But in 2022–23, he got 31 goals in all categories.
Even though he is expensive, the Napoli star could help Chelsea with one of their many problems: they don’t have a reliable and productive No. 9.
