Former Manchester United captain Bryan Robson supports Bruno Fernandes but would want to see Harry Maguire or Casemiro wear the armband for the Red Devils.
Robson shares this sentiment, admiring the Portuguese great as a player and a person but preferring a player deeper on the pitch to assist organize the squad as captain. I believe Bruno sets a good example.

But he’s an attacking type of player,” Robson explained on the No Tippy Tappy Football Podcast. ‘And I’m always biased in that I believe a defender who can see the entire pitch, or a center midfielder, are more natural choices to be captain and have an impact on the team.
‘I just believe that the organization of a squad should come from someone who is really vocal and forceful in the game and tone. That’s how I perceive my captain. So, even though I adore Bruno and believe he is an excellent player, I would probably choose someone else to captain the team.
