We will be lucky if he plays for us again after the Premeir League has finally decided if Greenwood will ever play in the Premeir League again”-BREAKING NEW as Mason Greenwood future has finally been decided by Premier League Board as Fabrizio Romano drops update on Man Utd striker

Mason Greenwood attracts interest from top European clubs but could come back to the Premier League.

While Manchester United is willing to welcome Greenwood back, new co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe suggests his future at Old Trafford is uncertain, emphasizing that no final decision has been made.

The 22-year-old has impressed while on loan at La Liga side Getafe, registering six goals and five assists in 24 appearances this season.

Talks with United are expected after the season ends, but Greenwood seems hesitant to return to Manchester, indicating a preference to continue in Spain. Getafe may struggle to meet his valuation, leading to interest from Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.

Besides Spanish clubs, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano suggests that several Premier League teams are keeping an eye on Greenwood’s situation.

“Many clubs in Spain, but there’s also interest in England,” Romano told The United Stand.

Despite being under contract until 2025, Romano believes United are ready to capitalize on his potential departure this summer.

“I don’t see Mason Greenwood staying at the club,” Romano commented.

Ratcliffe stresses that the decision about Greenwood’s future will align with the club’s values, taking into account the unique challenges faced by young players.

“You are dealing with young people who have not always been brought up in the best circumstances, who have a lot of money, and they don’t always have the guidance they should have,” Ratcliffe said. “What we need to do when we have issues like that is understand real effects, not the hype. Then we need to make a fair decision in the light of the club’s values.”

England manager Gareth Southgate confirms that Greenwood won’t be part of the EURO 2024 squad but leaves the possibility open for future call-ups.
